Bring a circus to life in front of your very eyes with Ele Grafton‘s diorama workshop. Ele will aid your journey into a world of astonishing acrobatics and shocking stunts by illustrating how to build up a 3D framed image using vintage pictures

Ele Grafton

Ele Grafton is an artist and illustrator based in a studio in West London. She has worked with a variety of organisations in the art world, including The Art Fund and an art consultancy. As a Fine Art graduate, Grafton specialises in intricate light boxes and delicate watercolour drawings of animals.

Although most of Grafton’s work reflects nature, she is also a self-confessed lover of patterns, buildings, all things geometric, and… chocolate.

Set inside a canvas marquee, the studio boasts a classroom space, exhibition shop and reception. From life drawing to graphic illustration, paper sculpture to collage, screen printing to lomography, Wilderness are working with contemporary partners to deliver art classes with a difference.

The aim is to not only expose the lay creative to new skills but to brush off the slightly middle-age dust associated with art classes, bringing a contemporary flavour. Read more

Wilderness Festival will take place this summer from 6 – 9 August in Cornbury Park, Oxfordshire.
