“Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.” Albert Camus
Across much of the world, autumn or fall is the most beautiful time of the year with trees glistening with gold, red, yellow and orange. The turning of the season has captivated artists for centuries with many painters also using it as an opportunity to contemplate the themes of change and decay. Below we present some of the finest and most unique portrayals of autumn in the history of art.

Hello,
I really love your website, and have been using it as a reference for themes I like. I was wondering who the artist was of the first painting at the top of the page. I really like that painting.
Thanks

I love The Good Witch. I have been obsessed sense the first movie came out. The small town and ALL the characters in it. It’s great to have a TV show that my daughter and I can finally watch together. We can’t waite for the movie and can’t waite for the next season. #keepthegoodwitchgoing
