Welcome to the Bridgeman Book Cover Design Awards 2019!
Bridgeman Images prides itself on working closely with designers in all industries, but since we began nearly 50 years ago, the working relationship with book cover designers has evolved considerably and is now unmatched in the licensing industry.
Each year, we look back and celebrate the best book covers of the year that used content sourced from Bridgeman Images in the design. Today we are proud to announce the winners of the 2019 Bridgeman Book Cover Design Award.
The winners are…
Trade Winner
Book title: King of the Mississippi Publisher: Hogarth Winning Designer:Matt Dorfman
A quirky and creative juxtaposition utilising multiple images from our extensive collection of contemporary and archival photography.
Academic Winner
The angled fonts interact perfectly with the contemporary art by David McConochie, one of our Studio artists. A very modern design for a very modern topic.
Book Title: Design for The Smart Enough City Publisher: MIT Press Winning Designer:Molly Seamans
The fabulous winning entries in the trade and scholarly categories win a $250 prize each!
