The third Bridgeman Podcast is out and it’s full of interesting information from Lucy Innes Williams and Charlotte Proctor Smith about the Bridgeman Studio Award 2016. In this episode the two give some great insight, tips and advice on who, what and how you should enter the competition. They explain how the winner will have a wonderful experience working with best-selling author Rosie Garland, as well as the teams from The Borough Press and HarperCollins.
A key insight was that some people have been asking about the specifications and information about Rosie’s new title. This information is secret at the moment and will be revealed only to the winner, so you only need to enter up to 5 images, either new or existing, based on the theme ‘Night’ and what that means to you. So you do not need to design a cover for the book, just create a piece of art, illustration or whatever medium you work with and enter for your chance to win the £1,000 book cover commission.
