The award-winning Wilderness Festival is soon approaching, and we are very excited for the vast array of music, food, performances and relaxation that awaits! What’s more, this year’s festival has a special addition of affordable art classes at the Wilderness Studio.

This is a follow-up of our series highlighting the gifted Bridgeman Studio artists that are taking part in the festival activity in Oxfordshire’s beautiful Cornbury Estate.

Katie Edwards

Katie Edwards is a London-based English illustrator who studied Graphic Arts and Design at Leeds Metropolitan University. She has previously produced illustrations for editorial, publishing, advertising and design purposes, and has been featured in a number of galleries. Her clients include Mail on Sunday, Saturday Times, Radio Times, National Australia Bank and Boss Card’s.

Edwards was also our winner of the Bridgeman Studio Award 2014, thanks to her imaginative interpretation of the theme ‘Joy’ and the technical skill and commercial sensibility of her works.

Her charming and often witty screenprints are created using a mix of traditional photographic techniques, collage and hand-drawn images. Find out more about the artist on her website.
