Curating the Archive
Wed 22 Nov – Thu 23 Nov 2017

The Whitechapel Gallery, whom we are proud to represent as part of the Bridgeman Footage archive, have a hugely exciting event coming up this month for those with an interest in archive, curation and art.

Whitechapel Gallery‘s Archive Displays have hosted iconic and ground-breaking archival exhibitions for almost a decade, such as Aspen Magazine: 1965-1971 in 2012, Intellectual Barbarians:The kindred of Kibbo Kift in 2015 and most recently Guerrilla Girls: Is it even worse in Europe?. There is no better place to learn about curating in the context of the archive and all practicalities involved.

This is your chance to look at working with artists and archival material while unpicking practicalities such as copyright, cataloguing and conservation. This two day workshop will be delivered by Whitechapel Gallery experts and reputable industry associates. Lunch and refreshments will be included in the course fee.
